Need some help from the import guys

I need to find a 5-speed transmission for a '92 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, all wheel drive with the DOHC turbo 4 cylinder. My dad's got one in his shop and is having trouble finding a transmission for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try www.ColumbusDSM.com/forums Thats where I found one, after I couldn't track on down here at the shop. Good luck, it is a hard tranny to come by, even though the car is everywhere.

I would think they'd be easy to get one. Can try U-wrench it (aka Pick-n-Pull) too. I was out there today and say a couple of them, not sure if any where awd's though.

Last year I had to get one used from CDSM, and had to go all the way to a junkyard in Kent to get the second one. They are not that abundant of a tranny.

Every true dsmer has at least 2 of them too... one to have in the car, one spare when the first one blows up
