Splatmaster
those exploders are known to have wheel bering issues, and the dealer is the only place you can get the correct berings from. 22's are a bad idea, it's just gonna wear out the berings faster. Hope you got a good one though!!!
stolen 5.0
fat ride man, and it's still a 4.6, so you can do some fun mods

Hope you got a good one though!!! The wheel bearings aren't as bad at their ball joints. About 70% of those Explorers that I see at work need new ball joints. We just did all 4 on an '03 a couple days ago. I'd go to a shop and have them check out your ball joints just to make sure.
SquirrelyNutsDSP
I wouldn't be as worried about the bearings as the ball joints. You can always pull a wheel bearing and spec out a better bearing....ball joints are more specialty. All concerns aside, sounds like you're happy so I'm happy for ya! Kohones
Enjoy it. We all love our vehicles, no matter what they are = Fords, GM, Mopars, Rice, etc - as for wheel bearings, tie rod ends etc, doesn't matter what we're driving, they're all machines & they all break (eventually)!
