I have. back when we were renting our apartment complete was hit and fried my router all our phones 3 stereos a TV and some other small things (alarmclock and what not) after playing the deductable the company we used (statefarm) was great with working with us. they ended cutting use a check for a little over $1000. right now i thing we are going through travelers ins and pay somewhere around $450 for homeowners ins.
