The car runs great and drives...tolerably. It's loud, and 4th gear is gone. You could drive it anywhere you want, as far as you want. How long you want to spend in it is up to you, I recomend a walkman. ;) The car came as an Auto, then was converted to a T5 5 speed by the previous owner....then the T5 self'dissasembled, and the AOD was put back in to get it around. I've accumulated a few parts for the T5 conversion.

As the car sits, with its 3.27 open diff, 3 speed old auto tranny, and nothing more then eibach springs and the used R compounds, it got around Mid Ohio's Club course consistently in the 1:45-1:50 range. I was unable to acclerate out of corners because the inside tire would light up, and I had no top end because of the tranny. With a minor investment in the transmission, you could make use of the steeper Track Lock Diffs and suprise alot of people. For a bit more you could upgrade the brakes and suspension, and begin accumulating trophies. :)

Theres easily $2000 worth of parts alone here, plus a car that went 13.5 with a full interior. This is a great deal, and it is so because I want the parking space free and the car off my insurance. It's a great winter project that you'll regret not having bought when spring comes. :D
