94 ford tourus

2000ish mazda mellina

96 ford escort wagon

o yea and 5 chevy calileirs, but those might be too small for what you want

we sold the 2000 nissian maxima and the chevy malibu

OK if your going to try to advertise the particular car's on your lot, at LEAST learn how to spell the their names.

mazda never came out with a Mellina.

I am beginning to think autotrader.com is a scam. The phone numbers are usually wrong and the e-mails require personal info. Probably going on a e-mail sale list.

Oddly enough I would agree with that. I found like 3 wrx's when i was looking for a car every time is was some dealer BS. But i did find the monte on there.

Throw out some ideas for a half way decent reliable car for 6k.. or around there. I really don't want another car payment, but I'm pondering the thought of getting rid of my car for something else.

Maybe even a mini-van that the wife can use and I'll jump pimp her Regal for a while until I figure out something else.

I know it's not much detail. I really don't want a sports car. Nor do I need it to be ultra fast either. Something more along the lines of a daily driver that doesn't break down every other week.

Any Honda.

Any Toyota.

i know a little off topic but i am tired of people saying that domestics are unreliable people just need a little more pride in thier american companies. i actually found a list in the shop today(yeah, we should clean the shop more) from october 27 dispatch, those of you who say domestics are unreliable should look at this

Problem rates for 2002-model vehicles in the first three years of ownership, as reported to J.D, Power and Associates. The figures represent the number of problems reported per hundred vehicles over three years among models that topped the industry average of 237.

lexus 139

porsche 149

lincoln 151

buick 163

cadillac 175

infiniti 178

toyota 194

mercury 195

honda 201

acura 203

bmw 225

ford 231

chevy 232

chrysler 235

i don't see hyudai, subaru, nissan, mercedes, volvo, vw, audi

any way, it says the best domestic picks are going to be ford f-series focus, escort, mustang and crown vic mercury grand marquis chevy trucks, malibu, buick regal, gmc trucks and ewwwwwwwwwwwww...... the pt cruiser

I had Hondas, a Suzuki, and a 2001 Maxima before I bought my Corvette...awesome car. Then I bought my Cleetus (80s fullsize Chevy truck)...another awesome vehicle. Then I bought my Jeepster a few weeks ago...didn't run...just rebuilt the carburetor myself yesterday with a $30 eBay rebuild kit...runs great and cheap.

My point is...don't write off American cars. For the same preventative maintenance as an import, you WILL have a reliable vehicle that costs less per mile to drive than an import.

That said, I like the Typhoon/Syclone option, though you'll get a dog for $6000.
