Bgbdbn
If its a go fast car, less weight and no drag on the engine to run the pump.

vitamincj
The Conquest had good road feel(IMHO) with power steering but without it I had GrEaT feedback from the road. I was blown away by how much the power steering dulled the road feel. Just my 2.6 cents. CJ
Science Abuse
If its a go fast car, less weight and no drag on the engine to run the pump. yes Though, most non'power steering racks have a taller ratio.
McGraw
once you mess up without power steering there's realy no fast way to recover, that being said about a car that is supposed to have power steering. But like Blackbird said, most cars that don't have it form the factory come with a taller ratio in the box so that it's not so hard to turn. Alex1647545498
My MR2 doesn't have power steering and it's not hard to turn at all. I don't even notice it. Might be because the engine is not in the front? But yeah... less weight and less power loss for pump is about all that would be good for. I feel the road enough on cars with power steering. McGraw
Well depends my ex had a grand am that I hated driving because of the power steering eliminated pretty much everything. Where as when the power steering went out in my monte carlo once. And it was game on, car sucks to turn with no p/s. Cjackson has '86 Fiero GT that you wouldn't even know didn't have it.
