owndjoo Posted March 24, 2006 Report Share Posted March 24, 2006 you should see the "briggs" we used in my jr. dragster back in the day. when i moved up to the super comp car the fast guys were using 3.5" bores!! in the area of 40hp. those were 6.xx second cars in the 1/8 mile. now i heard they are over 4". i've seen a few with superchargers, turbochargers, and even one with nitromethane! Hook a 5hp engine up to a large generator head (5-10K range), and put the n20 jet on the engine side of the throttle plate.
