Berto
hey mike i did some research on this because i am also buying a house and am going to do this before I move in. I went to home depot they have two options. the one i was looking at was a kit with the cleaners and everything needed for a 1 car garage was $60 so for a 2 car just buy two... I have worked in shops that had this and its just a lot easier to clean up... Don't do it just because a car may leak but just think about a slight mess up on an oil change. $120 is well worth it. wnaplay1647545503
Do it right. I used a diamond disc grinder to do the floors at work. You probably wont be able to do that but you will need to acid wash the concrete. Then use sherwin williams floor epoxy.

I've seen several garage floors done with floor epoxy that last a long time.

Mike this is a FACT my dad did not listen when we moved here and the floor is already hit and I stay after it. I will be (when it is warm) blasting the crap off and buying the good 2 part expoxy Like I told him too the first time. Also Preping it right is the MOST important
wnaplay1647545503
I used to own a painting company. I have done many epoxy floors. I stop in and check floors I have done 10 years ago and they still look great.
Mike_Shepard
Yea Scott I think this is the best way to go. Jason Does sherman williams have the concrete acid as well? what do they charge for it
wnaplay1647545503
Muriatic acid. They have it but you can find it cheaper at other places. Its not that expensive. Make sure you go over it several times. And hopefully you can get ahold of a powerwasher to spray it off with also.
Mike_Shepard
Yea the power sprayer I have is like 2000 PSI but I think a nice gas honda P/S would be awesome
