$120 bucks TO MOUNT A TIRE

So, I called to get a front tire price on my bike.

 

Called John Hinderer PowerSports in Heath.

 

120-70-17... $120

Labor... $120 + shop materials.

 

In case your doing the math, thats $250 with tax for a 120 front tire.

 

I laughed and hung up.

I suppose if they had to pull the wheels and it took them like...3 days to do it.

 

Let me understand - they wanted to charge you $120 in labor for a tire you actually purchased there?

 

And these dealers wonder why people stop buying from them. You can buy your own tire changing station for not much more than that.

iron pony is one of the better places to buy/mount tires. call over to yamaha of columbus

740-927-9944 and see how much they'll charge to mount. i have a hook up there(ama pro rider they sponsor) and we change supermoto tires there for free. shouldnt be too expensive.
