Slimpsy1647545505
Friend of mine is trying to get to work today and he turns over his truck, and the belt makes a loud squeel, then smokes..then nothing. Not sure myself, i told him it's probalby a pulley or something....thought I'd ask here. Thanks in advance!
Guest Removed
idler could bee locked up, alt, water pump or the like.. best thing too do is take the belt off, then try too start it! if it starts(or not) , check all the pulleys and see which one is locked up!!!! frankthetank
Its my vehicle. 91 explorer. Starts up just dandy but after 2 seconds squeals like its no ones business and then the belt smokes. Its not turning at all. Anyone recommend a mechanic off here...I'm still a novice at repairs, trying to learn, but don't wanna screw something up. Or any advice is also very welcome
