Mattsv8 Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 or is it a 283? i see that its a 377. hey what did you say his compression was and crankng com. i think my 355 was way low before i sent it to the machine shop it had 11.87:1 pistons should have been close to that. was cranking at 192. when motor was fresh and other heads cranked at 230. Guest Removed Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 has alot too do with CR but cam timing, duration, etc have a lot too do with it!billy gliddens motor are like 14 to 1 and higher and we know he sprays the shit out of them, and he also see's a 200hp gain from a 50 shot!! the motor in the stang is a junkyard motor, 8.5 to 1 ,nothing special. spray it, thought you was turboing it?
