Had the pleasure of working on Chris's new ride last night.

Chris, PM me your work e-mail and let me know if you can accept large files and I'll send the full size photos over to you.

Enjoy.

one coat of Z2...one coat of Z8 with Z6 to clean everything up.

The end result is great...but working with Zaino on black is a test of patients sometimes due to streaking, esp. when it's humid....Luckily on white you don't see any of these headaches.

Oh no I see them, but the Z6 gets rid of them. Really I think when it is humid we need to let it dry for 2 hours rather than 1. I have pics of my car since it has been done, but I lost the cord to transfer the pics. I have one at work I can bring home and upload the pics I guess. I havent moved the car from the garage since I did it so it is still perfect. Maybe I will take new ones.

Yeah, I had a streaking problem on my dad's Avalon last week (dark red). I'm thinking of doing my Sky this weekend (black) do you have any tips to avoid streaking?

Def. get that sky sealed as soon as possible. Just go really thin with the Zaino on Black. I usually apply it with an orbital and a finishing pad to get thin and even coverage and it helps with the streaking. Clean up any remaining streaking with a Z6 wipedown and you should be good to go.

I'm sure this man knows more than me, but when I get real bad streaking even when using Z6 it just moves it around I go ahead an wash it with Z7. After about 3 coats, I wash and then putting more coats on is a breeze. Also, in my exeprience if you have Z8 and Z6, use Z6 with streaks. Z8 made it worse for me.

I try to go thinner and thinner the more coats I put on, never thought about using an orbital. I may have to try that.

Looks great Chris.
