We are in the works of planning a cruise to Deal's Gap, NC to the legendary "Tail of the Dragon", which is supposidly North America's Nurburgring equivalent.. Stanello Posted July 27, 2006 Report Share Posted July 27, 2006 Anyway, if you guys are serious about making this happen, call Fontana Village and tell the the dates, and they will give you a discount on the cabins and rooms. Fontana Village is the closest hotel to the Dragon. It is on HWY 28, and is directly between the actual dragon and the top of the Fontana Dam. If you guys need any help setting this up, let me know.
