evan9381
gonna be a little over a week, but i need my car towed from gahanna (hunters ridge) to dublin (byers), possibly with a stop in blacklick (maybe 5-7 min away from where the car is) to pick up an engine. i have to see how they're shipping it (on a crate or not) and see if i can get it into my dads SUV. if i can get it in there, ill grab the engine. looking to do this friday. im off work for vacation, so any time is fine. cheaper is always better the car is parked head in into my garage, so unless we can get it turned around (might be able to roll it out the garage and into street), it will probably need a flatbed

BloodRed
I am not sure if it will work but have you checked into the Hyundai roadside assistance. I think you can get a Hyundai towed through them. And the engine should fit in an SUV. If it is in a crate, just take it out before loading it. 2-3 people should be able to lift that 2.0L into the SUV.
evan9381
i dont have AAA...my dad does, but i guess he's either used it up this year (5 drivers in my family, so it doesnt last long) or he didnt renew it...either way, unusable. as for hyundai roadside assistance, they will only tow it to the closest dealership. i had a tie rod that was loose and came out after i turned a corner in my neighborhood on the way home (literally 1/2 mile from home) and when i called them, they would not tow it to my house, only to the dealership. this was the day before thanksgiving so i said f' that. got AAA to bring it back and got the tie rod bolted back into place in about an hour (did both sides and made sure the cotter pins were in)
