I wasn't able to control my impulse and bought a 19" Acer LCD the other week. Newegg has a bunch of LCD's for cheap, mine was $194 shipped. So far it's been perfect. No dead pixels and games look fantastic.

Cot-y... What did I tell you about buying cheap pieces of crap? You didn't learn with your video card. :hangs head in shame:

I have a 19" NEC. It is absolutely AMAZING! It has ONE dead pixel, but I'm not going to complain since it was free. Shipping error's FTW. After buying a DVI cable the picture is amazing, games scare the living crap out of me now. That viewsonic posted above is an amazing monitor as well. Money well spent.

Uh...why is mine a cheap piece of crap? I said it has no dead pixels and then you post about yours, which has a dead pixel. I picked it for exactley what iwishiwascool said: it's a better known brand. Most of their other LCD's that were under $200 were brands I'd never heard of and got lower ratings than the Acer. Newegg thoroughness FTW.

Well it's a better known brand, so what. You also failed to remember mine was FREE! Plus the dead pixel only shows up when the background is black for w/e reason. I dunno.

Quality/Picture wise. Acer falls short to other name brands (Sony, ViewSonic, NEC). I don't like their picture.

This is a good monitor, under 200. Plus I'm almost postive it comes with a DVI cable. Dead pixels happen anyway, you're really only allowed to return a monitor if it has more then 7 dead pixels. Which is b.s. if you ask me.
