what CC engine was teh "VW 61-65 40hp etc" crankshaft off of?

I am not positive but I believe all 61-65 VWs were 1200cc, please correct me if I am wrong. The only solid info I could find is the flywheel dowel pin size is 5/16"

Well, I think my bug is a 1600cc, but again, not positive. I'll find out and get with you.

61-65 VW was 1200cc, 66 they went to 1300.
