Need a sheet of diamond plate

I got a sheet at Roush quite a while ago, but didn't find any a couple days ago. What I had was luminum, and pimp....and it got scraped off. Doesn't have to be diamond plate or aluminum, just a suitable skid plate.

go to the scrap metal yard with something to recycle and then grab what you want as long as the car or truck weighs a little less than when it went in no body will care....

 

or you could call a big welding shop like fortin they could point you in the right direction

Lowes has sheets of aluminum diamond plate (couple different sizes). I would think it would be better for "show" than a skidplate though.

Dont know what the gauge is, but it was meant to be a skid plate for my dad's porsche 924 Rally Car. Unfortunately, he died before we got the chance to build it.

 

Sorry for the crappy pics, I took it with my camera phone. I also couldnt find my tape measure, so for comparison, I put my 2 gal gas can in front of it.

paper

fingernail

a credit card

2 credit cards

3 etc etc
