RangerTurbo
looks like a Scion TC, RX8, G35 and a random chrysler (big rear end) all fucked and this was the bastard outcome Im not too impressed from the pictures, maybe a personal viewing would lead me to think otherwise, but there are other cars I would rather spend 70K on
Sparky
350z'esque with a punch in the mouth for a price tag.
HotCarl
In a car mag here I read it will also be offered with a V8 I thought they were trying to decide on a big v8 or a TTv6, im not sure if they would offer both powertrain's. I've heard toyota will be coming out with a supercar powered by a v10, supposably to be the next supra, but it will be marketed as a Lexus here of course. Rally Pat
I agree with whoever said that they thought these were going to have V8's in them. Thats all I have been hearing since the GT-R was announced....what...2, 3 years ago?
Rally Red Evo
Looks ok, but like many have said they may have priced themselves out of their core market.
coty061885
http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/11851/spied-2009-nissan-skyline-gt-r.html "Nissan considered a V-8 for the next GT-R but has opted instead for a twin-turbo V-6, due to its lower weight and explosive power potential. A limited-edition 2005-model GT-R Z-tune, fitted with the now-superseded twin-turbo straight-six, generated over 500 horsepower, showing the potential of this car. Britain’s Cosworth is helping Nissan extract more than 450 horsepower from the upcoming 3.7- or 3.8-liter V-6 while still meeting emissions laws." Looks like turbo V6, it is. No word on pricing in this article, but they have about a year to get it figured out. Hopefully, it won't be as high as originally reported. Then again, I couldn't afford it even if they dropped the price by half.

chrismindless
no V8, plz. traditionally the skylines had a 6 cylinder turbo'd ... turbo'd apps are definitely 'explosive power'. as much as id love the c6 zo6, sorry but ive waited TOO long for the skyline to come stateside and after i graduate law school, the GT-R looks like a nice graduation present to buy myself any info as to if it will retain an AWD platform, or RWD? http://www.motorex.com (if still in business after the crackdown) $70k is cheap compared to what the imported ones cost. $110k for an R34
Nitrousbird
70k for what looks like a beefed up 350Z. I'd rather just have a C6 Z06 that will wax the floor with that Skyline. My guess is this new Skyline will be AT LEAST 3500 lbs.
