Interest: FS 2000 Celica GT-S 6 speed

6 Speed S4

Recommended Posts

I am going to sell my celica very soon just posting this early to see if anyone is interested in it.

Info on the car: I am the third owner of the car, I bought it in Sept. 05 with 60,800 miles on it. I have done regular maintenance on it at the Northend Wrench.

2000 Toyota Celica GT-S

6 speed manual

78,000 miles runs strong although there is a ticking noise from the timing chain tensioner that can only be heard on the decel at 2K rpms. I had that checked out by the Northend Wrench they said its fine.

Oil changed every 3,000 Miles with synthetic oil

New clutch put in 7,000 miles ago

Transmission shifts smoothly except on a down shift into 2nd gear above 25mph theres a small grind due to syncros starting to go bad

New Goodyear gator back belt installed 4,000 miles ago

New rims and tires going on this week (ASA JH8 Black with chrome lip wrapped in Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tires)

A/C blows ice cold and the interior is in great shape.

Options:

Sunroof

rear spoiler

Mods done to the car:

Rod Millen Motorsport exhaust

K&N drop in filter

tein tech-s springs (going on the car soon)

EBC cross drilled/slotted rotors with EBC Green stuff pads

Pioneer headunit

tinted windows 50% front/ 15% rear

My asking price is $10,500 obo with rims/tires or $9,995 with stock wheels

PM me with questions

Just FYI, the blue book value for this car is around $8g's. I highly doubt you'd ever find someone to pay $11g's for a car with 78k miles, worn syncho, and a timing chain taping. Most I'd say with all the mods on it is $8700.

I have an offer for $11,000 so I'm probly going to take that. I bought the wheels and tires because it needed new rims (rear ones were bent) tires were worn bad. I posted on the celica forum what a good asking price would be... most said 10,500-12,500

curious as to why you would put the mods on then sell the car? mods usually dont fetch much $ unless you find another tuner who wants it

I'm looking mainly for a tuner to buy it, I've had a lot of offers on the celica forum, just decided to throw it up on here.

bump for a very nice car. Megaman, 6speed and I put in the head unit after about a dillion hours of searching, work and tearing up the car in my garage. Also, sad to see it go. fun car, very clean. Anyone who buys it will not be disappointed in its condition, engine or otherwise.

My best friend had one until he got his Spyder, the little Celica's handle like they are on rails and once he upgraded his tires and suspension, it was amazing how easy you could toss the thing around. Nice interiors, comfortable seats and I'm a big guy.
