Meaning if you move your hand, that gives the watch what it needs to run. If is it like mine you can stop it on purpose then up to 3+ years you can move it and it will go to the correct time. Don't ask me how it knows, it just does. It will stop moving the hands after 24 hrs but thenonce you move it again the hands will move back into position as well as the date. supposedly will hold for 4 yrs. I checked the time this morning and the hands stopped moving at 7:43am. To me, that's pretty good. I would have to think a full days wear would have it powered to hold for several hours longer.
