copperhead
both, Grove City tried to shut us down but we had all the lead cleaned up and we pased the lead test so we can't use ammo with lead in it at all. it sucks but the EPA is shuting alot of ranges down because of lead. Sorry again for my ignorance about ammo, but... Is normal factory ammo frangible, or would i not be able to use my CCI Blazer and UMC ammo at this range? jeffmeden
How much more is frangible ammo on average? I shoot $30 worth of ball on a good day at the range, saving a few bucks on the lane doesn't help if it costs twice as much to actually shoot! Is normal factory ammo frangible, or would i not be able to use my CCI Blazer and UMC ammo at this range? nope that is not frangible. on the box it says frangible, it may also say green bullets. like http://www.dfafrangible.com/ammo3.jpg http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/redir?src=image&clickedItemURN=http%3A%2F%25 Jeff what cal. do you shoot? i'll try to run up to vances and see how much 9mm .38, .40 and .45 are so everyone knows. i don't think its much more than regular. Fuck that, I'll just go to New Albany and use up my free lane rental tokens. Sorry, I just don't see the point in spending money on specialty ammo when I already have plenty sitting around
KillJoy
After looking.....I think I may be out as well. It does not look like there is any EASY source for frangible bullets for reloading. I am not going to pay $20+ for 50 rounds for a day of shooting. I can reload 45 Lead SWC for <$10 / 50. Unless a CHEAP source of ammo is found...I am out. KillJoy PS - Sorry...
