TTQ B4U Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 not necessarily and California oranges are often much better. Florida is known for Valencia oranges that make better juice. My wife and I get good ones from Florida from late fall through winter but come Jan through May we get them from California. They are often sweeter too as where they are grown is cooler than where the ones in Florida are grown. Cold is good actually. California Navel oranges are usually much better eats. They peel easier too....and you gotta love anything that makes ya think of a womans navel .....just my opinion.
