Trouble Maker
Bullshit. If I saw writing like that even on a mcdonald's application I wouldn't call them for an interview. No shit, I write like that on here and in IM's sometimes (mainly in a joking/mocking manner), but I never do that in reports (always electronic), emails, resumes. No professional ever would. V8 Beast
I had an interview a few months ago with a candidate and Human Resources where the guy said, "when the customer asked to speak with my manager I was like WTF..." After the interview the HR rep asked me if I knew what "WTF" means... He didnt get the job!!!

I'm constantly conversing with coworker's and client's via email and sametime (aka, Instant messenger). My biggest problem is not capitolizing my I's. I'm working on it though. Tractor
Hehe I"m a student of the new lingo since I"m an online gamer and I can say its very much faster to use it rather than spelling correctly while your in battle. We use voice chat alot too though and its funny that we actually speak stuff even though we don't need to shorten words because we can use our hands for gaming. Earl1647545488
I knew this was going to happen. That's why I always type the same no matter where I'm writing. Someday I'll be an old man and a doctor from this generation will be taking care of me. I can't wait to see how he writes the prescription. Farkas
The way I see it, your grammar knowledge is basically a representation of someone's intelligence over the internet.
77nova
I use to be abbreviate in instant messages all the time but I am trying to stop as much as I can. I have noticed myself accidentally use abbreviations in papers but I always catch myself.
