This amp makes an honest 1400wrms and is very rugged and reliable. It is a pro audio amp, but works fantastic for home theater sub applications, and pricewise is a steal of a deal. You will need a pair of serious subwoofers to handle this power. With two 15"s w/passive radiators and this amp 127dB was achievable @ 35hrz in a 20' X 25' room.
