Need Help - 88 Grand Am

Recommended Posts

As some may know, my Beater is an 88 Grand Am LE (2.3L Quad Four)

I am getting the following OBD-I Error Code:

26 Quad - Driver (QDM) Circuit

WFT is this, and what do I need to do to fix it?

PS - I DO NOT want to have to take this to the Dealership if I do not have to.

ecu has the quad driver in it, its what controls the injectors.find the bad injector and replace the ecu.

26 quad-driver error is simple, replace the driver gasket, by removing the nut behind the steering wheel.

Do you mean Find and Replace the Injector, Repalce the ECU, or both?

both

have you had a issue with the injectors lately?, it could be possible a different sensor shorted it out, but ive seen the injectors do it most of the time.(ive seen the alt spike and trash the ecu too)
