's = possesive (the cat's tail) s = plural (new maximas) s' plural possessive (the wilsons' house) If the plural does not end in an s, then add an apostrophe plus s (the men's room) now if you said "the new maxima's transmission", that is acceptable. honestly though... my 9 year old niece knows the difference. My mother-in-law has the nissan SUV and really liked it. Everything i have seen and read is been good but the performance is less compared to a tradional auto trans. Not feeling the car takes out the fun of driving the car and i would always want the option of getting bigger gears.
