FormulaMatt Posted April 22, 2007 Report Share Posted April 22, 2007 I have a 1986 Jimmy K5 4X4 (the big full size one) for sale. It has been a great truck for me, but I recently upgraded to a new Ram. The truck is in good shape for the year. It does have some rust starting (it is 21 years old!!), but nothing compared to what you normally see on these. It has a 305 V8 with around 135,000 miles on it with no leaks anywhere whatsoever. These things will last forever. It also has the removable top (though I have never had it off.) It does have some upgrades, such as a "towing" cam, edelbrock carb, Long tube headers, true dual exhaust (sounds great, not loud not too quiet - very throaty) Aftermarket wheels and nearly new 32" tires, heavy duty front bumper. It does need a little work, but is a great runner as is. The left front fender has a dent and needs replaced and painted to match the rest of the body, the grille could be replaced, and there is no choke on the carb (I just get under the hood and do it manually - I will show you how). It runs and drives great and pulls my 21 foot boat with no problems at all. New parts include Cam, Carb, Brakes, Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, Distributor Cap and rotor, Power steering pump, Alternator, All exhaust, Heater core, and more. I have the title in hand ready to go.
