kenny
91 Talon TSi 200k miles, 5-speed, AWD, MBC, 2.5" turbo back, Walbo 190, etc. I need to put a head gasket on it and a wheel bearing. It's ugly as fuck, runs mint and doesn't grid any gears. I haven't driven it in forever so thinking about getting rid of it... $1,200 or so? Might sell it as-is for less, I'd probably rather just fix it though. No head unit in it at the moment but you can keep the 3 MTX 10s... Has new rotors all around, new rear calipers, new head gasket, new t-belt, new auto tensioner, new pulleys, etc. Old pic, http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/8004/img1852nl8.jpg Edit: Also have a spare ~70k mile 14b and o2 housing that will go with it, I bought it off someone from Cols DSM a long time ago incase I needed it and never did. turbospec29
ever change the timing belt?
kenny
ever change the timing belt? Edited first post, thought I included that. I changed the t-belt not too long ago (like 2,000 miles at most), didn't set the timing when I was done (swapped heads too) and that's what caused the blown head gasket. It's only blown bad enough to push coolant out the overflow... car still runs/drives just not for long.

Art
It is kinda ugly... how a car that old and rusty can move the way it does. Good luck with the sale. You know I wanted this forever. I still do want it, but because of my knee I cant afford it right now.

kenny
You get new buick yet ? ~8 months or less left with school, then after I take care of some other crap I'll find one. Hopefully this time next year if I'm lucky. Yup. He bought it off me, his first beater 1G. Weve all had beater 1Gs before hah. In the 3 years I've owned this thing it hasn't ever acted like a DSM, kind of scary. Starts every time, never left me anywhere, etc. "Team 600 ftw!" Did a 520 conversion and went -1/+1... thinking about changing the team name to team gold chain.
