Bump. Just confirmed with the new job, vacation is a go!

We really need to get a firm body count and get reservations made. Seriously. Soon.

I'll do the reservations, but need to know, for sure, who's going, etc.

I'm for sure going. Any of your other friends going? I think Shitty is going as well. We were just talking about it Friday night.

We just got back from Utah on Sunday, so all of my bud's have already gone out there for the year - so its' looking like three of us then. Should I book one room or two? We can do three to a room without too much trouble as long as someone doesn't mind sleeping on the floor when sofa's or roll away beds aren't available. Can rotate who sleeps on the floor so no one would sleep there more than once or twice.

The route is set...

Sept2route.jpg

Heading out via I-70 to Denver and then into Utah. Next we'll swing south for a couple of drunken days in Santa Fe, New Mexico before heading east via Tulsa, Oklahome and back to Columbus.

Hope it's not too hot out that week!

What are the dates on this? I'm thinking of doing this trip solo 8-13 to 8-23.

I don't have shit planned, that's half the fun. tent, right gear, extra fuel, water, good to go til I can't go no more. :)

Still debating on this trip or New Orleans and then up the coast.

Duh, I can't read the freaking thread title.

well, I won't do the ride but I will make the effort to meet up w/you gents in NM or UT. I have a severe dislike of UT, but I may get over it. I would prefer riding through the desert climate over UT though.

We are planning on being in Santa Fe on September 8& 9th - staying both nights at the Hilton located on the corner of Sandoval & West San Francisco Streets - near the square downtown.

We'll be the drunk guys sleeping under the bar - ya can't miss us.

Kansas and eastern Colorado do suck dog balls, but both are crawling with cops - so we shouldn't be too bored unless we want tickets.
