vitamincj Posted June 30, 2007 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 I'd like to hear what you guys use. I have old fuel residue from a leaky TB and the usual oil and random grease mess lower in the bay. I know there is stuff out there that works great but is harmful to the paint. I am interested in what you guys have personally worked with that worked well. V8 Beast Posted June 30, 2007 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 Some use simple green (but make sure you rinse it all off or it can mess up aluminum) I use cheap purple degreaser that you can find at just about any store. Get a small bucket and a brush and go to town. Then when it comes time to rinse it off... put the hose on wide spray, then go back and forth without leaving it on one area for long.
