Guest FooFooMaru
looks like the atom but with more stuff on it and a bike engine i like the "atom" better http://www.arielmotor.co.uk/04/press/ariel_atom_r34_big.jpg http://www.arielmotor.co.uk/04/press_paper.htm
coty061885
Seems like a bad place for the engine but it's small and possibly balanced out with the rearend being at the very back of the car. I'd still take it for a drive, but i like the Atom better.

Got-Boost?
It won't sell for shit with that DOG of a motor... Put a TURBO BUSA motor in it and it will be at Radical status and surpas the Atom...

Martin
the atom is the bomb(no pun intended) compared to that dog shit. i would pick the atom over a bike any day.

Science Abuse
http://www.motorpasion.com/2006/10/07-2007-twintech-v-twin Anyone know where that idea came from? Anyone? Any other goofy-old-car fans? http://thekneeslider.com/images/cyclecar.jpg But the old cyclecar only had 3 wheels. Put a TURBO BUSA motor in it and it will be at Radical status and surpas the Atom... It will take alot more then that to touch a radical. Also, with a busa plant in a car you'll spend sunday racing and monday replacing your clutch. Got-Boost?
I didn't mean it would be AT the Radical performance level but like a radical in the fun factor department. BUSA clutches aren't that weak unless you have a crazy TURBO or the wrong clutch setup. No one with that kind of power runs a stock clutch anyway... SPLN SUX
i could build somehting faster than a radical... easy... if only i could get about $500K...
Got-Boost?
What's your point...? Radical's aren't $500k...
Mattsn2o281
now i've never ridden anything with an s&s motor in it, but have ridden plenty of built harleys, and they all had the power band of a farm implement. plus add around 800-1000lbs over the weight of a crusier, i cant see how that would be that amusing to drive. Now the Radical and the Atom are teh sweetness, i wouldn't mind having one of those to take down to deals gap or some place like that. Science Abuse
BUSA clutches aren't that weak unless you have a crazy TURBO or the wrong clutch setup. No one with that kind of power runs a stock clutch anyway... IT's nto a matter of power, its a matter of moving twice the weight with the same drive train. The friction material is just going to wear faster, its a fairly common problem among bike-motored cars.
Got-Boost?
Considering there are about 5-different kind of clutch setups for the BUSA that do specifically that, I think the car guys need to do a little more research if they are having that problem with the BUSA motor/clutch setup... Got-Boost?
ive ridden a big dog mastiff with a 107ci S&S and that bastard is nuts.. cant open it up in first without smoking the tire That's just because the wheelbase is so long and the front is so heavy. Not to mention the torque of that setup gives it instant... :burn:
88lx5oh
im not sayin its gonna be the fastest thing in the world, but it will make for some fun. plus the sound of a big cube vtwin with some pipes on it is incredible.
