lawnman
How can I remove the window tint on my car ? The tint job is very nice and looks to be professionally done. The problem is I am old and everytime I look out of the windows it looks like it is dark outside.
Bam
Sell the car to me....problem solved... But seriously, get an xacto knife or whatever and make like an x in the windows, except the rear because of the defroster lines, and just start peeling stuff back. Depends on how long its been on there how easy it is to get off. Get something with amonia (sp?) in it, or just windex, something to eat the glue away and go to town. I've done it on previous cars, anywhere from an hour to a half day.
lawnman
The back window is tinted and has a rear defrost. This car would make a perfect donor for a Cobra, so how is the build coming along?
Bam
For the back window, you just have to be super careful, if you cut any of the defroster lines it won't work at all, of course it can be repaired, but just cut in between the lines... Good, what's your email and I'll send you pics. Auto/5spd? How much? It is already sn95 brakes/rear so that is a plus.
