heres what i posted on the cnet forum...no responses though...

recently i purchased a panasonic surround sound system. i purchased the SC-HT440 system and the SE-FX60 (i believe) rear wireless speaker receiver.

i have read over the owners manual multiple times, and can not figure out how to get the rear speakers to produce any sound. the wires are connected to the receiver, the wireless card is inserted into the rear of the DVD player, and the wireless receiver is plugged in for power.

the other problem i have is when watching normal TV, the system doesnt seem to get loud, even at full volume. i can have the DVD receiver to max volume (50), and with my cable box turned up, it still doesnt get very loud

anyone have any suggestions on how to get the rear speakers to work and give me a real "surround sound" feeling while watching a movie, or something besides the sound coming only from where the tv is? and also how to get all the speakers to play a bit louder?
