smokinHawk1647545499
Again-IMO its not worth the chance of issues down the line. While I am 60+, retired, and loving life, you "may" be going back to the hospital to see what surgery they can do to help with your deteriorated discs. I will stick to benching flat back, thanks. hmm your talking about taking chances... the guy who tried to attempt 200 in a grocery getter box?? I am pretty sure i will outlive you. Life without chance is boring at best, and a boring life is a life wasted. DK
WWD JUNK
There is a guy in my team that competes @ 164, and tossed up 410 at the last lift. He looks like a mini triple H with his pony tail. He is about 5' 4". All natural. Being short is not advantageous, but having SHORT ARMS is. I am not blessed in this area with my ape arms. Your team? I think I've seen that kid you're describing at my gym before.
coltboostin
Your team? I think I've seen that kid you're describing at my gym before. I think Matt went to Fitworks a few times to try it out. I did as well with a few guys that are regulars up there-but I ended up staying at the Y. If you are interested-I can let you know went he next competition is. You can "roll" with us. And you never called me last night. DK
zeitgeist57
I lift alot of weight everytime I take a piss... Seriously though, I never really understood these guys. I mean it is amazing what they can push up but I would rather be a guy that doesnt lift that much but has perfect form and alot leaner/more ripped look. +1. Benching a lot of weight is pretty cool, but so is being able to wipe your own ass after taking a shit. I loved how he Oompa-Loompa'ed into frame on that video. Don't overrate full range of motion. It's a pretty cool thing to have.
