Word of advice, really not trying to insult you but you need to market yourself better. Honestly after reading your post I wasn't sure if you were asking for side work or looking for a different job all together.

 

If your looking for side work or trying to get your own thing going then market yourself. Describe what kind of work your experienced in and what your good at. Is it just simple maintenance stuff like oil changes and tire rotation's or can you do custom fab work? Honestly you probably wont get a whole lot of simply maintenance work from this crowd, most do it themselves and those who dont already take it to a place like Tire Discounters. You might be able to get some custom work but you would have to be VERY reputable for people to consider taking their cars to you.
