CJINOHIO03
If a car has a lot of miles on do they wear out or just get clogged with deposits etc? I am try to decide on having them cleaned or replacing one. I know it has been asked before, but who locally cleans them and how much do they charge? On a more serious note there are many types of fuel injector cleaners, I think the best is the way to take them off and take them to a shop that will do whatever they do and have new o-rings put on is what i would do personally just my 02 cents got in a reply before moved to tech section boo yah

Dave1647545494
yes fuel injectors can go bad you need to check for power at the injector connector witht he engine running if you have pulse and the injector is not working replace the injector

I think you can get them at harbor freight kind of cheap. A voltage meter might work though I am not sure if you will be able to see it, or if it will fry it. Vander
Try Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner first. The stuff is amazing!
Dammit Charlie
The problem with trying to clean injectors by yourself is that you can never truely get them clean unless you pull the fuel basket out of them. I would call around and get pricing to get them cleaned and flow tested. I can't imagine it costing over $100.
