88lx5oh Posted December 3, 2007 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 mine stopped igniting for some reason. just plugged it in yesterday and nothing. blower kicks on and kerosene is spitting out the front, but doesnt ignite. i did manually light it (lighter and carb cleaner.. yeah yeah i know not the smartest thing but i wanted try to narrow it down) and it will blow heat and run like it normally does. i thought maybe running it would help. but after i was done i unplugged it and plugged it back in and same as it did before.. blower kicks on and spits K1 out the front no igniton/ no heat. any ideas.. or remedies... if i cant fix it ill probably keep manually lighting it to get me through winter and just install a reznor next year. 88lx5oh Posted December 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 its s older sears brand. where would this igniter be... i see two wires that look like plug wires.. both come out of a box.. and then attach to the tube where i can also see that kerosene is injected. i figured there where plugs in it, but have no idea how to get them out. nor do i know anything else about them.. ill take a pic maybe that will help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
