BIGGU
so today i had some fun, i replaced the rear main seal, not to hard. made a stock blow off valve blocking plate, mounted the other one.put on the flywheel, clutch transmission on, motor mounts, and i put the motor in today. i did this all by myself today with no help! http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0942.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0943.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0944.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0947.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0948.jpg i still need to figure out what this plug does, its not on the 1jz harness. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0946.jpg

BIGGU
so i did a little bit on the car and tryed to start it but didnt crank. no idea at all why it wouldnt but anyways i did a little bit more on the car and its looking alot more like a real car agian. i tryed to jump the neutral saftey switch maby it just needs to re wire the starter. because i got nothing out of it. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0949.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0950.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0951.jpg does any one know what that one is in the middle with the bandage on it or where it goes? BIGGU
so i found out what everything goes to. did a little but more today. i mounted the power steering reservoir, fan controller, installed the radiator, and mounted the fans! the knob next to the battery is the knob for the fan controller. not trying to hide it but just keeping it hidden. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0952.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0953.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0954.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0955.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0956.jpg
BIGGU
so i did some more work on the Lexus today, i did get to wire up the car so i do not need the clutch to start the car and i did bypass the neutral safety switch so the car starts with the key and not push button. so there are a few other things left but i should be driving it here soon heres a video of the first run of the car. turned over first try!! http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0957.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0958.jpg Happy new years!! BIGGU
so i did a bit more work on the car today. i remounted everything in the interior. installed a walbro 255lph that was from my miata so i had to swap out harness out. mounted the drive shaft, and exhaust. filled up the transmission. only things left to do is put on the front wheels, drop the car, wrap the wiring harness, install front mount, remount bumper, headlights and install hood and i will be good to go! BIGGU
uggh well good news and bad news today! today i got the intercooler mounted , ran all piping ran, mounted the headlights and all that. bad news x2 when me and brooks were setting the car down the rear jackstands tiped causing the rear of the car to slam down on the ground. no damage except the bottom of the jackstand creased my hard fuel lines. 2nd bad thing is that the piping is way to close to the ground. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0990.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0989.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0988.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/engine%20swap/IMG_0987.jpg

DKilbourne
I saw the car on the back of a trailer yesterday at around 6 when I was getting on 71N at Stringtown. I think there was a 240 following you as well. I unfortunately was getting on 270, or I may have caught up for a closer look. Looked nice sitting on the trailer.
