What car would you put this engine in? I would take the 454 with the direct port. koolrayz Posted December 27, 2007 Report Share Posted December 27, 2007 572 in an Ultima GTR chassis. I think the GTR chassis is slightly superior to the GTM but the GTR body is fugly. Dont need big cubes in a car that light. Better IMHO to have a destroked, high reving engine. The 387 I quoted is a 4.125 bore with a 3.622 (stock) crank. If you put a 454 in a miata you will basically be making a burn out machine. What about a 408 with a 200 shot? 408 FTW. Thats what I plan on dropping in the TA in like 16 months.
