THE STING Posted January 25, 2008 Report Share Posted January 25, 2008 I've already made well over 500 rwhp with a stock roller block (CHP 347 w/4340 internals), so I know the block will hold up, it's the stock rods/crank/pistons that will fail first with this combo. Regardless, it's all in the tune. People who split stock blocks are usually having detonation/lean issues. Sounds like you built a grenade to me,...but good luck.... This is just some junk that was laying around and it will only be in the car for a few mths or until it detonates. All in fun. So are you in for $10? This is probably going in a stang right, so 500rwhp should put ya deep in the 10s with traction, if ya can show me more than 20 timeslips doing that i'll step up to a whole $20... and your right, your rods and pistons may explode before you can even hurt the block.......put a engine diaper on it... Boost-n-Juice Posted January 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 With the Novi, same Heads, Intake/TB on my 347 I made 505rwhp @ 5k and only 8lbs of boost, this with a 10:1 AFR...hahaha!
