JaSSon
There was a thread where this came up not too long ago in recent history, but I can't remember the actual topic. What are some nice restaurants in the area? And I'm not talking Columbus Fishmarket or Brio. I am looking for actual nice, not knock-off-Easton-located nice. cptn janks
nice is such a subjective term, what exactly do you mean by a nice place? expensive? romantic? good food at a cheap price?
boosted98gst
many nice places, just what is nice to you........Bravo's in dublin is good.
Skinner
Château Blanc best place in town and its not to hard on the wallet.
JaSSon
I'm not using the term subjectively. An expensive-type resteraunt. The type most users here don't frequent. My GFs birthday is next weekend. i want to take her out someplace different.
JaSSon
I found the thread I was lookin for: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46574 I saw Hyde Park, Ruth Chris, and the melting pot mentioned. What are these places like? Would a tie and a blazer be over dressed for these places?
Jelloman4571647545499
I went to the Melting pot and it took about 3 hours for the whole thing from start to finish. It was alright.

jfiveeight
The Refectory is really nice on bethel rd. Mitchell's steakhouse, M!... pretty much any cameron mitchell place, they all have different themes. Hyde Park is good, blazer is not over dressed. Ruth Chris is a competitor to Hyde Park. Never been to melting pot.
turbomark
I used to work at the melting pot... it's a different experience. Definitely not a first date place as you will have nothing to do for 2 hours but talk with each other.
Tinman
Top Steakhouse in Bexley is one of my favorites. It's not a chain and has the best steak in Columbus.

Big Chief2011647545501
Tucci's in dublin was amazing. Bravo is owned by brio which was owned by lindeys so dont go to any of those. The melting pot sucked, If i want a steak i dont boil it ill cook it on a grill. I take my GF out to alot of restaurants here in c-bus I would suggest Tuccis, Hyde Park, Ruth Cris, Reflectory on bethel, Barnum and Tibbetts, Oscars, or Smith & Wolensky. Tractor
Hoover Grill is a nice place up in Westerville on the water of Hoover Res. I know the owner (nice g), but the food is to fancy for me even though the prices are really good. Evan
