Science Abuse
What was your query? I couldn't find squat. I worded my question wrong. I'm looking for an underhood guide to tell me which is the #4.

TurboRust
yep he's right, they're good for coils dying, take cyl 4 swap it with 5 and see if the misfire follows.

TurboRust
i assumed he had a scanner going by the distinct misfire code, however it coulda been an autozone diag I suppose
Dave1647545494
nah you don't need to clear the codes it will just add a cyl 5 misfire to the history if you don't clear it out

Resetting the ECU entails disconnecting the battery? Popping the fuse actually requires more tool.
Guest Removed
AZ diag it was. Resetting the ECU entails disconnecting the battery? Popping the fuse actually requires more tool. maybe. i never have any luck doing that on obd2 cars. even with touching it to the other terminal to discharge the capacitors in the ecu. but you never know you might get lucky! Science Abuse
Wellsir, That was it. I unplugged said coil and the crap idle didn't changed. I also noticed the faintest of cracks on top of the coil. So, I need one of those and I need the codes cleared. BTW: this engine actually has belts on both sides, thought he main accessory drive belt is on the passenger side.
