I thought I saw something where if I company had under X amount of employees they could pay them under minimum wage. Just wondering here since my wife just started working and its' under $7.50. The company said they would give her a raise in 90 days or after her grace period or some shit. Or.. is all companes regardless of size required to pay at least minimum wage? Bird69 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 here's something i found at http://com.state.oh.us/laws/pub/MinimumWage.pdf 2008 Minimum wage Effective January 1, 2008 an increase to Ohio’s minimum wage will take effect: • $7.00 • $3.50 for tipped employees (plus tips) *The Federal minimum wage applies to these categories: • $5.85 for those employees whose employers gross under $255,000 • $5.85 for 14 & 15 year olds July 24, 2008 the Federal minimum wage increases to $6.55.
