Holley Files For Bankrupcy

that was a 93 though. look at all the aftermarket fuel injection systems that are out there and how many things you can do with them (FAST, Accel, Big Stuff3, ect.) and holley has the commander 950. its a nice system but not near up to par for the other systems. hell the stock GM PCM is more tuneable than the holley is. they haven't really inporoved there carbs in years. other companys have made huge improvements to there design though.

The GM PCM is more tunable than ANY aftermarket ECU, it just doesnt have the "frills" (2 steps, boost controllers etc). As far as total control of the engine given any enviromental situation the OEM's do it better.

A lot of faster carb cars don't even use Holleys (though a lot use carbs based on Holley), but they where used for so long that there will always be a large market for them.

Even more so than the AEM and Motec M880?

When talking about engine control, yes, however as I stated they dont offer the frills you get with aftermarket ECU's. Now some of the more compicated stand alones come really close, but they are not something the average consumer would use anyhow.
