JaSSon
Not me, I will be downloading my movies as that's going to be the way everyone will do it eventually. I will not buy a PS3 or Blu-Ray player. I like actually owning a corporeal media. I'd rather have a disk than a HDD based player with limited storage capacity. SpaceGhost
I like actually owning a corporeal media. I'd rather have a disk than a HDD based player with limited storage capacity. You can push media to the computer and stream from it, and you can always add another Hard drive to your computer for cheap or upgrade to a larger size. I watched Matrix Revolutions today on the Apple Tv Take 2, Very good picture, easy to use. I don't like spending money to own movies, I would rather pay $4 to $5 to rent. TTQ B4U
Panasonic is the big OEM for them. Own an Apple.....that's a Panny BluRay inside. Dell too if memory serves. What are the odds that Sony (the owner of your playstations and your blurays) will license their tech to Microsoft for anything less than a small mint? Gates would love it if he could start slapping blu ray players in an enclosure and pushing them out the door but the reality is it's not gonna come cheap any time soon. Rally Pat
On a recent episode of Revision3's Tekzilla, they talked about this dual format drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136133 Its a nice option for people who already have things like HTPC's
Patrick
Either way, it's still too expensive for me.
