Otis Nice
God shouldn't be your copilot. He should be the pilot. That's awesome. People can now read the latest Harry Pooter novel while drinking their latte, holding a conference call, texting their therapist, watching a movie, and changing their shirt all while driving the kids to soccer practice. DeathSandwich
very funny I love to read and I drive a lot for work, but it's not a standard automobile. Does anybody know if this will fit a regulation school bus steering wheel?
thorne
That license is not valid. Jesus was not born on the 25th. It was a date choosen to combat the Winter solstice.

GonneVille
double true, but whats with the birthdate being 4 years BC? Because not even the Christians can puzzle out the connection between the date of Christ's birth and the beginning of the Gregorian calendar, which BTW wasn't invented until several centuries after the death of Christ...so not even the Pope himself could actually tell you when Christ was born or when he died. Gregory basically chose an arbitrary date sometime during the era when Christ was supposed to have lived as the starting point for his calendar. Guest Hal
That license is not valid. Jesus was not born on the 25th. It was a date choosen to combat the Winter solstice. It was to combat pagans as they already held a celebration on the 25th. They decided to celebrate Jesus' b-day that day instead. I can go look at my source later if you don't believe me. Patrick
The joys of Catholic school, I know all this crap...when it's rammed down your throat for 12+ years, it gets old and you tend to hate it. Really, the bible's been written, re-written and by so many people, things are left out, and most of the Gospels were written years after the things happened, so a lot was forgotten. Heck, Judas wrote a Gospel, IIRC, as did many major characters in that time period. Theology was an easy A, and a required class. Their main point was not to be exact, but to give a general idea and message. If you're going from the date of the Annunciation, it does coencide with Christmas. But they're just dates.
