Some random car shots from Atlanta

Recently I took a trip down to Atlanta, GA in search for some warmer weather. My friend graduated from the BMW Step program in Cleveland and got a job at the largest BMW dealership in the SE (Global Imports in Atlanta). Prior to us heading to see his new work setup he had informed me that they had just received a shipment of 3 135i's and that I could maybe get to test drive one. I got all excited and brought my camera along for the ride in the hopes that I might be able to find a nice spot and snap some pictures of it during my test drive. Unfortunately when we got there all of them were being driven and there was a 2 hr. wait to get behind the wheel. We were on quite a time constraint so I never did get my test drive, but I was able to get a tour of the entire facility and I did snap some pictures. Here are just a few from the day, I figured I would share these as my first post outside the introductory section.

I keep waiting, hoping rather that one day, BMW will fire whoever designes their interiors.

Well it doesn't help that you drive an Audi who on average have the best interiors of any car manufacture (barring Ferrari's and the likes). Although it must be noted that I particularly enjoy BMW's having owned 2 of them in the past.

I don't really have anymore car shots, unfortunately we didn't get to spend too much time there and I felt a bit awkward walking around with my camera. I can't tell you how many times I was asked if I was shooting for someone. I have some other random shots non auto related if you'd like to see them. Nothing I would write home about, by any means.

 

On another note, I did go to Chicago this past weekend and I have some shots of the Veyron at Gold Coast Lamborghini as well as other vacation pictures. Also, since I try not to bombard websites with my pictures, feel free to check out my photo blog. It's got most of my recent outings posted up. I haven't gotten to the Atlanta or Chicago trips yet since I've been rather busy lately.
