mrblunt
How selfless is that? I pray to god someone would do the same for my girls in that situation, only hopefully not get killed in the process. God bless her for what she did. Dr. Apex
Very sad story. That truck driver is going to jail for a while, several witnesses said he was speeding and failed to stop for the crossing guard. I used to come through there a lot when I worked for Chemcote and almost always saw a cop present when the kids were coming or going, I'm surprised there wasn't one when it happened. Tindall2006
The only speed limit sign I always make sure I obey is a school zone. Even if I am in a fire truck running hot to a scene. Sad story, sucks for all parties involved.

Akula
She is a hero, true definition. The whole situation is Hilliard's fault and I hope her family goes after them. They refuse to bus if you live within a certain distance from the school. This creates a need for crossings over very dangerous roads.
