Billiumss
I need to buy a large Marine/Deep Cycle battery for a solar project. Looking for one with a lot of "amp Hours" and under $100 I know you can get them at Sears, Autozone, Sams, etc, but what brands would you guys recommend with a good warranty? Rally Pat
I am a big fan of Auto Zone's cheapie batteries. They get the job done.
Patrick
Direct from Interstate on Westerville road, just south of 270 by Cooper road and International Auto Parts. They should meet this quota.
gillbot
Check local recycling places and get old fork truck batteries. Sometimes they'll give them away.
Akula
Marine means they are sealed and don't slosh. Just get any old deep-cycle battery. Drag racing places often have them. I am interested in this solar project, what are you up to?
Tinman
The past three or so batteries I bought were "year olds" or scratch and dent from Interstate Batteries on Westerville Rd. They usually have a few laying around and sell at a good discount.
