zeitgeist57
A couple of my rental homes have door damage that I want to get repaired as soon as possible. Both are newer Clopay single-car doors, with no windows. I believe the dimensions on both are 8'x7'. Non-insulated. Is there a local distributor that I can purchase replacement panels through? It really doesn't seem that difficult of a fix to do after examining how they are bolted to each other and to the rollers on the track. Thanks! GRN96WS6
You might have to call some garage door companies and see what/if they can do that. I am replacing my garage door currently with a steel unit and everywhere I called/asked only sold the whole door not a replacement panel. If you think about it though like you said they do come apart in sections so no real reason why it wouldn't be possible to sell a section to someone. Avenger1647545502
I'd imagine that the manufacturer would have information on getting replacement panels on their website. Might be a little hard to find though, most companies tend to bury that stuff in favor of selling an entire new door. But, I can't see them telling people, "Nope, tough luck, lump it and pay somebody else...."
